My Favorite
Writing Views

Breathtaking sunset from our back porch.
My favorite three trees!

I love the beautiful, early morning fog
(view from our kitchen window).

An ice storm that took our electricity for four days!  Photo taken from our kitchen window.

I enjoy watching the farmers bale hay.  View out the kitchen window where I write.

The stunning splendor of fall on our road.

Foggy, fall view from one side of our house.

Fall photo taken from our front porch.

My favorite place and most inspirational place to write is at Pretty Grandpa and Bitsy Grandma's.

Jim built a "bird sanctuary" outside the front window. I sit there for hours and write while watching the birds....sometimes twelve hours at a time.

The woodpeckers have done a number on our feeder. They work until they get the glass "up" and the seeds pour out. Other birds benefit from their hard work.

A cold, icy day at the Elliott's!

The birds love our solar powered,
glow-in-the-dark bird feeder.

Birds take refuge and find
sustenance at our bird sanctuary.

Hummingbird in our front yard.

The best view of all—when Jim brings
me fresh veges from his organic garden
after a long day of writing!

Gotta brag on the kids!

Faith, Malachi, Camelia, and Jim at graduation.  Malachi majored in Mechanical Engineering and minored in Math.

Faith and Malachi skiing.

While in college, Malachi spent four
summers as a fly fishing guide in
Alaska, Colorado, and Wyoming.

Faith is a student who studies Animal Science.  She spends her summers as a horse wrangler at a guest ranch.  During the school year she milked 220 cows single-handed on her job at a dairy farm!
